Paultons Park claims title of "UK's best theme park" from Which? Magazine

Consumer affairs magazine Which? has named Paultons Park as the UK's best theme park, after a survey revealed high customer satisfaction levels at the home of Peppa Pig World.

According to the magazine, 94% of those surveyed said that Paultons Park had either exactly or mostly met their expectations. Unsurprisingly, it was most popular with families with small children, who are the target audience for the newly-opened Peppa Pig World.

Paultons Park has received nearly one million guests in 2011, with the new land having attracted a significant number of new visitors. The park has been advertising on a national basis for the first time this year on the back of its UK exclusive Peppa Pig license.

Despite the survey results, Paultons Park is still a relatively small player in the UK theme park market. The UK's most popular theme park, Alton Towers, hosted 2.75 million guests in 2010.

I think this is a great accolade for Paultons Park and well deserved. Just because everyone has heard of the bigger more commercial Parks it doesn't mean they are the best.

I visited travelling with my family all the way from Sunderland this year and found the Park was clean, the staff were friendly and the rides were great for smaller children. Peppa Pig World in particular had a touch of magic that only Disney can better.

Looking at Trip Advisor it looks like many others agree too.

Well done to Paultons and the Pink Pig!
