SeaWorld Orlando has introduced a new ticket option for its Summer Nights 2011 events , which enables guests to enter the park after 3pm for $49.99.
The price of the ticket is discounted from the standard $71.99 adult admission price for the park, and is only available to residents of the US and Puerto Rico. It enables guests to experience the range of additional entertainment offerings that take place during the Summer Nights events, which are due to run through August 14.
The Summer Nights events are similar to the AfterDark celebrations that SeaWorld Orlando has hosted in previous years, with the name having been changed to match a similar event at sister park Busch Gardens Tampa. The park remains open until later than usual during the events, closing at 10pm.
All three evening shows from AfterDark 2010 have returned for the 2011 season. The headliner is once again "Shamu Rocks", which features the park's famous killer whales performing in front of a light show. Comedy show "Sea Lions Tonight starring Clyde and Seamore" also runs every night, with the "Reflections" fireworks and fountains spectacular completing the line-up.
New for this year is the Summer Nights Central party zone, which is located around SeaWorld Orlando's lake. The area offers a range of food and drink options, with a DJ playing tunes every night and live bands performing at weekends.
