Disneyland has reopened its Star Traders store, ahead of the June 3 opening date of the long-awaited Star Tours: The Adventures Continue ride.
Star Traders sells a range of Star Wars-themed merchandise, designed to tie in with the updated attraction. The Orange County Register reports that the store has been expanded to cover 5,064 square feet, having taken over some of the Starcade video games area.
The Disney Parks Blog recently provided a preview of the merchandise that will be available from Star Traders during the next couple of months. This includes an extensive Build Your Own Lightsaber section, where guests are able to select the color and style of their mock weapon.
Star Tours: The Adventures Continue is scheduled to open on June 3 at Disneyland. Often referred to as Star Tours 2, the long-awaited sequel to the classic Star Tours attraction will feature an all-new plot, 3D special effects and a host of new characters.
