Tickets on sale for Halloween and Christmas events at Disney's Magic Kingdom

Walt Disney World has announced that tickets are now on sale for the 2011 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party events at the Magic Kingdom.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events will take place in September, October and November, running from 7pm to 12am. Disney targets the celebrations at younger guests, with activities including trick-or-treating with Disney characters and special parades and fireworks shows. The events will take place on September 13, 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30, October 2, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31 and November 1.

The Christmas celebrations are aimed at a similar audience, and feature special holiday-themed parades and shows. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party events will be held at the Magic Kingdom from 7pm to 12am on November 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18, 27, 29 and 30, and December 2, 4, 6, 7, 9, 11, 13, 14, 16 and 18.

Tickets can be purchased online for both the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party events. Prices vary depending on the precise date, ranging from $47.95 - $63.95 for kids aged 3-9 and $53.95 - $67.95 for those aged 10 and over.
