The Disneyland Paris Resort will kick off its Disney Magical Moments festival on April 6, 2011, with two new shows set to run through to early 2012.

The new additions are the Disney Character Express and Mickey's Magical Celebration, both of which were caught on video at a preview event by YouTube user stitch59000 (and embedded below). The shows will take place at Disneyland Park. Also forming part of the Disney Magical Moments festival will be a range of unique experiences involving Disney characters, such as special meet-and-greets with princesses at Disneyland Park and the addition of Cars character Lightning McQueen to the Moteurs... Action! Stunt Show Spectacular at Walt Disney Studios.

Mickey's Magical Celebration will be presented once daily on the Central Plaza stage, and features Mickey Mouse and a range of Disney princes and princesses. The show's plot sees Mickey being transformed into a Master Magician, and a preview is embedded below:

The Disney Dance Express will replace the similarly-named Disney Character Express, and will take place on-board the same train. This will carry a group of Disney characters (including Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, Pluto, Chip and Dale) to the Central Plaza, where will they will perform a dance routine three times daily. A preview of the show can be seen below:

Disneyland Paris runs festivals on approximately an annual basis in order to draw repeat visitors to the park. To celebrate the upcoming Disney Magical Moments festival, the resort recently released a "tilt-shift" video showing a typical day at Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios.
