Walt Disney World has released an official preview video showing off the new interactive queue for the Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion ride, which soft-opened to guests earlier this week.
The first members of the public experienced the revamped "graveyard" on Monday, March 14, with further unscheduled openings expected during the next few days. Disney's official preview video for the new queue line is embedded below, and features Walt Disney Imagineering show producer Eric Goodman and show designer and art director Pete Carsillo. It takes viewers on a video tour of the graveyard, including a look at many of the interactive elements:
Walt Disney World is placing a strong focus on improving the experience of guests waiting in line for its attractions, including testing new "virtual queuing" systems to complement the existing FASTPASS system. At the Magic Kingdom, interactive games were added to the queue line for the Space Mountain rollercoaster in 2009.
