Theme Park Tourist Christmas logo

The editors of Theme Park Tourist would like to wish all of our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

For those of you heading to theme parks over the Christmas season - have a fantastic time and let us know whether the parks' Christmas events live up to your expectations. For the rest of you, enjoy the festive season and get planning those 2011 theme park trips!

2010 has been a great year for Theme Park Tourist, with the site seeing a tenfold increase in visitor numbers compared to the previous year. Some of the highlights included our review of Alton Towers' Thirteen rollercoaster in March, the launch of our Price Watch ticket comparison tool in June, and our coverage of a snow-covered Disneyland Paris in December (our most popular article to date).

We are very much looking forward to 2011 and have big plans for the site. Most notably, we'll soon be adding the ability for readers to rate and review attractions, restaurants and hotels at dozens of theme parks in the US, UK and beyond. We've also hired a team of great writers to help us produce in-depth reviews of all of the major attractions due to open next year, and we're still looking for writers to help us cover the new rides at Tokyo DisneySea and Universal Studios Singapore.

For those of you wondering what 2011 has in store for theme park fans, check out our feature on the 10 most exciting new theme park attractions opening in 2011.

Thanks for your support and see you all in 2011!
