Universal Orlando has revealed details of its 2010 holiday events, with Christmas-stealing thief the Grinch set to make a return to Islands of Adventure.

The Christmas events at the resort will run from December 4 - January 1, with "Grinchmas" and the Macy's Holiday Parade both returning from previous years. Mannheim Steamroller will also perform live concerts on Universal Studios Florida's Music Plaza stage, on December 4, 11 and 18. All of the special attractions, shows and concerts are included with regular park admission.

As in 2009, Islands of Adventure's Seuss Landing area will be transformed into a Grinchmas-themed wonderland. This will include a special Grinchmas musical show, which will run multiple times daily. Guests will also have the chance to meet characters from Dr Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas - including the Grinch himself.

The Macy's Parade takes place daily in Universal Studios Florida, featuring balloons from the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City. It culminates with an appearance from Santa Claus at a tree-lighting ceremony,

New this year at Universal Studios Florida is the Holiday Village, which will feature an array of holiday-themed food stands (including caramel apples, hot chocolate and roasted chestnuts) and a cupcake-decorating stall.

Full details of the holiday celebrations at Univeral Orlando can be found on the resort's website.
