Busch Gardens Tampa has released the third teaser video for its planned Cheetaka rollercoaster, which is set to open at the park in 2011.
As with the previous two videos, the latest clip shows a render of the on-ride experience of the new coaster. Embedded below, it appears to show a section towards the beginning of the ride, with the coaster being launched from a trench up into a figure-of-eight section before plunging back into another trench.
The park released the video through its BuschGardens2011.com teaser website. To access it, visitors are required to enter the code word "GRACE", although it is also viewable on YouTube in unprotected form. One further video is due to be released in the build up to the official announcement of the new coaster in mid-October.
The previous two videos, each showing a different portion of the ride, are embedded below:
Leaked plans have suggested that the new rollercoaster will feature as many as three launch sections, and that it will be themed around cheetahs. The ride will cover a sprawling area, occupying most of the existing Edge of Africa land. Sections of the Serengeti Express train have already been rerouted to create room for the new addition, while the water section of Rhino Rally has also been closed to accommodate it.
Further reinforcing the likelihood of a cheetah theme and the Cheetaka name, another recent leak included concept art for the ride's station. Busch Gardens Tampa has also been advertising a Zoological Supervisor role which requires experience of working with cheetahs, with a new live animal exhibit set to be installed alongside the rollercoaster.
