The Disneyland Paris Resort has released an official video of the opening day of Toy Story Playland at the Walt Disney Studios theme park.

Though in French, the video includes on-ride footage of all three new attractions that are located in Toy Story Playland (RC Racer, Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop and Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin), along with time-lapse footage of the area's construction. It also shows the ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 17, when Mickey Mouse and characters from the Toy Story animated movies were on hand to officially open the new land.

Toy Story Playland is the first major addition to the Disneyland Paris Resort since the 2007 opening of the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, also at Walt Disney Studios. In addition to the new rides (each based on a character from Pixar's hugely popular Toy Story movies), the €70 million land features theming designed to make guests feel as though they have been shrunk down to the size of a toy.

Theme Park Tourist will be visiting Disneyland Paris later this year and will feature a review of Toy Story Playland on the site shortly afterwards.
