Members of the public have been able to experience Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey - the headline attraction at Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter - for the first time this weekend.
The area has been exclusively open to guests at Universal's on-site hotels, with the company having sold Wizarding World vacation packages which began on May 28. The Forbidden Journey attraction has operated intermittently, with the technical problems that plagued it during last week's employee testing continuing to cause extended periods of downtime.
Non-hotel guests continue to mob the entrance to the Wizarding World at Universal's Islands of Adventure, but have not been allowed in as yet. The new land has been closing between 10am and midday as Universal continues to prepare it for its planned grand opening on June 18. However, a "soft opening" to the general public is still expected to take place ahead of that date.
The first reviews from the lucky few to have experienced the Forbidden Journey have begun to appear online, accompanied by video walkthroughs of the Wizarding World. We've embedded some of the best videos below, courtesy of Orlando Attractions Magazine and Inside the Magic.
