Drayton Manor has revealed that it will launch a new 4D show for the 2010 season based on the popular Happy Feet movie.
The 12-minute film will replace The Curse of Skull Rock in the park's 152-seat 4D theater, which opened last season. It will open at the start of Drayton Manor's 60th anniversary season, on March 20.
Happy Feet 3D is a cut-down version of the original Oscar-winning movie, which was released in 2006. The plot revolves around a tap-dancing penguin, Mumble, who must try and save his colony from starvation after humans take their fish supply.
Like The Curse of Skull Rock, Happy Feet 4D will make use of the theater's special effects, which include moving seats, spraying water, air blasts and other effects familiar from rides such as Shrek 4D.
Happy 4D will be shown daily at regular intervals until Drayton Manor's 2010 season concludes on October 31.
