The Goliath and Batman: The Ride rollercoasters are back in operation at Six Flags Magic Mountain following maintenance and repainting work.
According to Magic Mountain's Twitter account, both coasters are back in action and therefore should be open this weekend. Goliath had been closed for unplanned maintenance, while Batman: The Ride was undergoing a repaint to a new, deep blue color.
Magic Mountain is taking advantage of the low-season to put a number of attractions through "rehab". Fellow rollercoasters Déjà Vu and Ninja remain closed at the park, while slingshot ride Thrill Shot is also undergoing refurbishment. No reopening dates have been announced for the attractions.
Meanwhile, the park has announced that its full 2010 season will begin on March 22. From that date, the park will be open every day of the week, as opposed to the limited weekend schedule that it operates on during the Winter season.
