Tomorrowland Transit Authority at Disney's Magic Kingdom will now reopen on September 12.
The ride was originally due to reopen on August 25, but this was recently delayed until September 1. It has now been further pushed back, suggesting that refurbishment work is taking longer than expected.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority has been closed since April 19, primarily due to renovation of the Space Mountain rollercoaster, one of several rides through which the Transity Authority's course takes riders. Space Mountain is still due to reopen on November 22.
Themed as a "mass transit system of the future", Tomorrowland Transit Authority carries guests on a train ride through many of Tomorrowland's other attractions. A new colored lighting system has been installed on the ride, and can be seen in action in the video.
It remains to be seen whether Space Mountain will suffer from similar delays, or whether it will return in time for the key Thanksgiving season.
