The Fear Factor Live show at Universal Studios Orlando has closed down once again - with rumors suggesting that it may not return.

The show has been replaced for the duration of Universal's Halloween Horror Nights events by Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure. Fear Factor Live has closed has closed on multiple occasions this year as Universal cuts costs, and has already been closed for good at sister park Universal Studios Hollywood.

Screamscape reports that a number of potential replacements are now under consideration, including a version of the Wild West Show which previously ran in the same location. If true, then it unlikely that Fear Factor Live will return following the end of October's Halloween celebrations.

Based on the popular TV show, Fear Factor Live sees a select few guests competing in "terrifying" stunts in front of a live audience.
