The first members of the public have been riding Universal Studios Orlando's Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit rollercoaster tonight after its soft opening period began.
The park opened the coaster to a waiting crowd at 6pm, less than 24 hours after Universal staff members were first allowed to test it.
Park staff told TPT that further "technical runs" will take place over the next 4 weeks, giving visitors to the park further chances to ride. An official opening should follow prior to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights events.
TPT editors Nick and Natalie were on hand when the ride opened, and a review will be posted in the next couple of days. Images can be found in the gallery.
