The first human passengers have experienced a test run of Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit at Universal Studios Orlando, as the park revealed the ride's soundtrack.

The rollercoaster has been in testing for some time, and the first videos have now emerged showing humans on-board (see the embedded video below). The lucky riders are believed to be Universal employees, and the news means that the ride is almost certainly due to enter a "soft opening" period soon. These are common for new theme park attractions, and see guests allowed to ride new attractions prior to their official opening dates in order to test the ride, staff and processes.

Guests who have spotted the Rockit action have reported that it is an incredibly quiet ride, with the notable exception of the lift hill. This had to be updated following technical problems and is now by the far the noisiest part of the ride, something Universal will no doubt look to rectify in future.

To drown out any external noise, passengers on Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit will be able to choose their own soundtrack from a selection of popular songs, and Universal has now announced the available choices. These fall into the categories of Classic Rock / Metal, Pop / Disco, Club / Electronica, Country and Rap / Hip Hop. The official song list is given below:

Classic Rock / Metal Motley Crue - "Kick Start My Heart" Hinder - "Born To be Wild" ZZ Top - "Gimmie All Your Lovin" Limp Bizkit - "Rollin" Evenescence - "Bring Me To Life" Finger Eleven - "Paralyzer"
