McDonald's restaurants in the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are to be replaced this season.

DoingFlorida reports that the Village Fry Shoppe in the Magic Kingdom, the Refreshment Port in Epcot and Fairfax Fries in Disney's Hollywood Studios will all see their current McDonald's menus replaced. The restaurants will also be re-themed, with the Village Fry Shoppe re-opening as the Friar's Nook on March 26. No opening dates are given for the other two restaurants.

The news doesn't yet spell the end for McDonald's restaurants across the Walt Disney World Resort. Numerous outlets are dotted across the site, and the McDonald's near the All Star Resorts is currently being refurbished.

What do you think of the removal of McDonald's from the Walt Disney World parks? Let us know in the comments section below.

I was really surprised to hear that the McDonalds are being replaced. I was looking forward to a good McDonalds burger when I visit Disneyworld in the summer. I am sure the new restaurants will still be great!!
Thanks for the warning TPT!!!!
