Busch Gardens Europe to open Sesame Street area in April

The Sesame Street Forest of Fun is set to open at Busch Gardens Europe in Williamsburg, Virginia in early April.

Screamscape reports that the press day for the new area, themed around the popular kids TV show, will be on April 3rd. This suggests a public opening date soon after.

Targeted at kids, the Sesame Street area is a major expansion of the park and will feature four new rides, as well as shows and play areas. The rides include Prince Elmo's Spire (a shot and drop ride), Grover's Alpine Express (a rollercoaster), Bert and Ernie's Loch Adventure (a log flume) and Oscar's Whirly Worms (a rock-n-tug ride).

The area will also include a new 4D show called "Sesame Street presents Lights, Camera, Imagination!"
