Universal Orlando has announced that its offer of free hotel nights has been extended to cover travel up until October 8th.
Those booking a three night vacation package (hotel plus admission tickets) will receive two nights free, while those booking for four nights will get three nights free. The examples given on the Universal website are for a family of four (two adults, two children), but TPT was able to get quotes from the Universal website for a family of five so the offer appears to be flexible.
In order to take advantage of the deal visitors will need to book prior to March 29th, as well as travelling within the available dates (up to October 8th, excluding April 4th-18th).
Universal claims five night packages for a family of four will start from $711 (staying at the Quality Inn Plaza), including admission to both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, access to CityWalk and transportation to and from the parks. For full details see Universal's page detailing the deal.
Universal first announced the offer in December, but it has only now been extended to cover the summer months. Both Universal and Disney have been engaging in heavy discounting to try to boost falling visitor numbers during the global economic crisis.
