A new theme park based on the world of popular preschool character Peppa Pig opened in Florida on February 24th 2022. The park is operated by Merlin and is part of the LEGOLAND Florida resort in Winter Haven, but it is its own park, requiring separate admission. To visit this new park, guests can purchase individual tickets, annual passes or combo passes that include LEGOLAND Florida admission. As this is a relatively small park, daily ticket prices are lower than most other theme parks. The combo passes for two or 3 days at Peppa Pig Theme Park and the adjacent LEGOLAND Florida seem to offer the best value.

The park is aimed at young children and features rides, live shows, character interactions, themed play areas and water-play areas. The rides and play areas are based on Peppa herself, members of her family and friends and include Daddy Pig's Roller Coaster, Grampy Rabbits Dinosaur Adventure and Grandad Dog's Pirate Boat Ride. Other attractions include Muddy Puddles Splash Pad which derives from Peppa's favourite pastime in the TV series - "jumping up and down in muddy puddles". 

Park History

Since its launch in 2004, the Peppa Pig TV series has exploded in popularity and there have been multiple series broadcast in more than 180 countries.  The Peppa Pig World land at Paulton's Park in the UK opened in 2011 with nine rides and other attractions for young children. It became increasingly popular, with Paulton's Park winning  awards as the best family theme park in the UK and coming in Trip Advisor's world's top ten. 

It is no surprise therefore that other Peppa Pig attractions are being launched around the world in places as far apart as The Netherlands, China (Beijing, Shanghai and Sichuan) and with indoor pre-school play areas in Dallas Fort-Worth and Michigan (2018) in the USA. The Peppa Pig World Theme Park in Florida opening on February 24th 2022 was the next big step forward for Peppa.
