Legoland New York is under construction in Goshen, New York. It will be the third Legoland park in the USA after Legoland California (1999) and Legoland Florida (2011), and the ninth worldwide. Being built at a cost of around $350m, it will be the largest of the Legoland parks covering 150 acres and the New York resort will include a 250 room hotel, with rooms themed on Pirates, Castles, Lego Friends and Ninjago. It was scheduled to open on July 4th, Independence Day, 2020 but has been delayed to Spring 2021 due to the coronavirus crisis. With seven themed areas the park will have over 50 attractions - some of which will be familiar to visitors to the other Legoland parks - but also including new ones unique to New York. Like the other Legoland parks it will be aimed at families with children in the age range 2 - 12 years old. Look in "New Attraction Watch" to see the planned new rides and attractions.
