LEGOLAND California's signature roller coaster is The Dragon, which occupies a large area in the Castle Hill area of the park. Riders queue through a large-scale replica castle, before boarding dragon-themed trains that can hold up to 2 people in each car. The opening section of The Dragon is effectively a dark ride, taking guests on a tour of the interior of the castle. After exiting the castle, The Dragon’s picks up pace as it traverses an outdoor section that features fast turns, dips and inclines.
