Key Information
Stand-up roller coasters were briefly in fashion during the late 1980s and 1990s, and while rival Bolliger & Mabillard built the majority of them, Intamin did also get in on the act at one stage. Cobra was one of three rides that resulted, and was originally housed at Sweden's Skara Sommarland amusement park.
As with all coasters of its type, riders perch on bicycle-style seats in a standing position. The train hits a top speed of 48 miles per hour at the base of its 87-foot first drop, before racing around a vertical loop and several twists and turns.
