First announced in 2016, Mystic Timbers opened on April 15th 2017 and was King's Island's 16th roller coater, and 4th wooden coaster. Built by Great Coasters International the 109-foot-tall wooden roller coaster features 16 hills as it travels through wooded terrain along 3,265 feet of track at speeds up to 53 mph. The experience lasts just under 2 minutes and has a surprise ending every time. With 3 trains each holding 24 people it has a capacity of 1200 passengers per hour.
