Opened in 2012, Wodan: Timbur Coaster features a lengthy 3,444-feet circuit, and hits a top speed of 62 miles per hour following its 115-feet-tall first drop. Unlike many of Europa Park's rides, it was not manufactured by the park's owner, Mack Rides. Instead, wooden coaster specialist Great Coasters International was responsible for its design.

Wodan: Timbur Coaster features a theme based around Viking mythology, with the Wodan name being derived from the Germanic version of Norse god Odin.
