A suspended family roller coaster manufactured by Vekoma, which was formerly known as the Rugrats Runaway Reptar and Sky Rocket. Now themed around the Magagascar movies, it features a single 20-seater train.

Escape from Magagascar's short circuit features a series of drops and turns, but no inversions. Unusually for a family coaster, guests are held in place by over-the-shoulder restraints, which are necessary as the train is suspended beneath the ride's track.
