The new Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy show opened at the Sunset Showcase Theatre (located next to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith) on March 31st 2019. The new show brings guests face to face with an animatronic Lighting McQueen, while giant wrap around screens 2 stories high and 200 feet from end-to-end pull guests into the action.
