Previously known as Mickey's Fun Wheel, Pixar Pal-A-Round has been re-themed but is still one of only 2 Ferris wheels in the United States that combine fixed and sliding gondolas. The other is the original — the Wonder Wheel at New York’s Coney Island. Each gondola now features the image of a different Disney and Pixar character, including Woody, Buzz, Dory, Nemo, Mr. Incredible, Joy, Sadness and Lightning McQueen. Riders have a breathtaking view of Paradise Bay. The outer gondolas have a steady, fixed position on the wheel but thrill seekers can chose the swinging, sliding, exhilarating moving gondolas attached to rails in the wheel's interior.
