The much-heralded roller coaster that finally conquered the 300-foot height mark, Millennium Force is still proclaimed as one of the best roller coasters on Earth, never dipping below number two on many annual polls. The speeding, slaloming layout never relents through the 6600' long course, and riders applaud each and every time at the brake run.

The Best Coaster of All Time

It is obvious how this mammoth of a coaster yet again won the Golden Ticket award for best steel coaster in the world. It is incredibly smooth, intense, and has extreme height and speed. Between the graceful overbank turns and floating airtime-filled cammelback hills, this is a ride not to be missed out on. As you quickly ascend the massive 310 foot lift hill, take time to enjoy the views both of Lake Erie and of the park. Then be sure to put your hands up and scream as you plummet back toward the ground. It is nonstop thrills and fun all the way through, and you will be begging for more as soon as the train glides into the final break run. There is no other coaster like it, and no other feeling like that stomach churning first drop. The only word to describe this ride is simply "incredible." No matter how long the wait, this is a must ride. This is also an awesome coaster to ride at night (But be warned--if you sit in the front be prepared to get a mouthful of bugs!)

Beat in height, not experience!

When Top Top Thrill Dragster stole the title of tallest coaster in the park, it was not able to take the title of most enjoyable thrill ride in the park.

Millennium Force combines height and speed with smooth hills, a couple of tunnels and terrific views of Erie. The entire ride experience is hard to compare because of how smooth and enjoyable the ride is. Top it off with the fast elevator lift system on the ride, and you get to the best part of the ride quickly and the enjoyment does not stop until you hit the brakes at the end.

This is a coaster that makes the park worth traveling to just for the one coaster. Add the other dozen that the park has, and you have no reason not to visit and ride the Millennium.

Millennium Force is best to do first thing in the morning as the queues build up very quickly. It is an amazing ride, and the first drop is incredible. Millennium Force is a must-do as it is absolutely brilliant. If you want to ride it without a huge queue, ride first thing. Do NOT miss it! The feeling as you crest the 300ft hill and as you drop 300ft with only a lap bar is indescribable. The freedom your upper body gets is frightening. If you can't get to it early, I suggest you ride it anyway, it will be worth the wait.
