Magnum XL-200's blazing red-orange track was the first to reach the 200 foot height mark. Now, it remains a Cedar Point classic eliciting groans and screams all along its beachfront layout. When it debuted in 1989, it was also the fastest and steepest complete-circuit coaster in the world and in 2004 it was awarded the ACE Roller Coaster Landmark award for its historical importance.  On clear days, Canada's shore can be clearly seen from the crest of its massive lift hill.
