If you're familiar with the expression "what you see is what you get", then that in a nutshell will size up the experience of riding on the Carolina Cobra at Carowinds.
You have really one ride here repeated backwards and forwards....just once. Once you're all tucked in your seat, your entire car gets pulled backwards and up, then released to go through the forward section of the ride, which includes one loop and a corkscrew before you end up on the backwards portion, being pulled up to the top of the hill, before being let go backwards screaming through the same loop and corkscrew you seconds earlier experienced in forward motion.
That's it.
Is it a fun ride? Well, I guess you could say that. It's WAY too short, for one thing. As it's that short, the least they could do is run your car through the whole thing twice. Otherwise, you basically wait 10-15 minutes on line for a ride that will barely last 60 seconds....total.
Try it, don't try it....you're not gaining much or losing out on much either way.
