Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced (Oct  14th 2022) that their new attraction which is opening in Spring 2023 will be named 'Serengeti Flyer' and will be the world's tallest and fastest screamin' swing. The Serengeti Flyer will "feature twin duelling arms that progressively sway back-and-forth reaching speeds of 68 mph and 135-foot height at peak."   Guests will be seated across two gondolas, back-to-back in rows of 10, giving 40 guests the chance to ride at a time. As each swing goes higher, guests will feel multiple negative- G moments and will get amazing views over the expansive 65-acre Serengeti Plain at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
