Although billed as a new attraction when it opened in 2007, Haunted Hollow is really just a pathway that links Gloomy Wood and Mutiny Bay. Lining the route are headless statues, talking tombstones and an abandoned hearse. Although most guests won't notice, the theming is tied to the history of Alton Towers, with the various tombs claimed to be those of former workers at the estate.
