2. New Disney Junior Dance Party to debut this year

In addition to the ride enhancements mentioned previously,  it was also announced recently that a new entertainment offering geared towards the youngest attendees of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party would be added this year: the all-new Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam. This kid-focused entertainment option is a dance party that will favorite several Disney Junior Characters, including Doc McStuffins, and probably Vampirina as well!

3. Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and Hallo-Wishes returning in 2018

Though it is not exactly a surprise, Disney has confirmed that both the Hocus Pocus Villain SpellTacular as well as Hallo-Wishes are going to be returning to 2018's event. Though some have been wondering when the last vestige of the old Wishes show might be updated to be more in line with the current Happily Ever After show, it looks like both fans and Disney are happy to keep this show as-is, which is definitely good news for now.

Though Disney shocked longtime guests earlier this year by announcing that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was expanding into summer, it looks like they are at least going to be offering some interesting new things to do when the event kicks off in less than a month. However, it will be interesting to see how many guests show up for these earlier events, as celebrating Halloween nearly three months before the actual event seems a little crazy, even by Disney's standards! Will you be attending this year's event at the Magic Kingdom?
