4. Turkey Leg Rice Crispy Treat

Unless you're crazy, you can't realistically take home a turkey leg with you. I'm sure someone in the long march of history has made such an attempt, and I'm sure it ended poorly – with greasy luggage and elevated cholesterol levels. Please, don't try to pull it off.

But, if you find yourself unable to depart Walt Disney World without grabbing one more turkey leg, consider this alternative: a rice crispy treat shaped like a turkey leg.

There are a few clear advantages to this item as opposed to the actual turkey leg: First of all, it's much more compact than a traditional turkey leg. Second of all, it's far less messy than the normal turkey leg. And, lastly, you can eat one of these without feeling like you're on death's door immediately afterward.

But the most important part is that they keep well, meaning you can bring a few back home with you. Trust me, these are a bit more reasonable to consume in the real world.

5. Mickey Chocolate Pretzels

As with all Mickey Mouse shaped foods, it is vital to begin your consumption by biting off the ears first. Often, however, that can prove difficult to do – with cookies, the ears are often too big; with Mickey ice cream bars, the ears are often frozen solid. This presents a problem.

The Mickey chocolate covered pretzels, however, are the perfect combination of brittle and travel-sized. They're small enough to eat quickly but low-maintenance enough to savor over time.

Now, you can't buy boxes of the elaborate, candy-coated ones you'll find across Disney property, but you can purchase the regular milk and dark chocolate versions in boxes of eight or so. That makes them perfect for a last-minute buy as you're preparing to head home at the end of your trip. Your resort's gift shop will have them, and they make great road trip snacks.

Here's a tip: Buy one more box than you think you'll need. It'll keep your family from fighting over them.

6. Joffrey's Coffee

For the longest time, Disney's coffee was forgettable at best. Sure, Kona Cafe had the incredible 100% Kona coffee available, but beyond that, Disney's coffee simply wasn't up to par with what you'd find even at Starbucks. That has since changed (and not because they brought in, well, Starbucks).

In 2014, Disney partnered with local coffee roaster Joffrey's to create individual blends for Walt Disney World's most luxurious dining options. Partnering with Disney chefs, Joffrey's roastmasters crafted incredible blends for restaurants ranging from Jiko, to California Grill, and even Victoria and Albert's.

You can buy any of those blends on Joffrey's website, so even when you're at home, you can drink your morning of evening cup and pretend you're sitting in your favorite Disney restaurant. And, believe it or not, they truly do taste distinctive. It's not hard to picture yourself sitting atop the Contemporary Resort or in the heart of the Grand Floridian.

Or, if your favorite coffee happens to be the one that wakes you up in your resort room every morning, they have that too. And, considering you might have a few hundred days to get through until you can go back to Walt Disney World, that extra boost can come in handy.
