4. Get some memorable photos.
You can commemorate your pregnancy and your Walt Disney World trip by taking some very special photos with characters! They could rub your belly, make a cradling motion or put their ear to your bump, or you could bring an ultrasound picture or a stuffed animal for the baby to use as a photo prop. You could also bring a chalkboard, dry-erase board or even just a piece of paper with a special message for the baby. These methods could even be used to announce your pregnancy to your friends and family. Imagine a picture of you, Mickey and Minnie, with the two of them happily pointing out your tummy with a flourish and you holding a sign with an arrow pointing to the bump and the message "Coming Soon!"
Other fun photo ideas include placing a pair of child-size mouse ears or a Disney onesie (especially one that features the year that she will be born) in front of your tummy, or pinning a "First Visit" button to your clothes near your bump with your baby's name on it.
And don't forget to take some memorable pictures inside and outside the rides themselves! While actually experiencing attractions like Space Mountain and Expedition Everest are definitely out, you could get pictures of yourself standing next to the rides' safety signs, pointing to the lines that say that "expectant mothers should not ride." You could also hold up some miniature mouse ears to the ride camera on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (the camera captures your photo in the final room after the "warp tunnel," when your vehicle turns on its own).
5. Hit the shops!
Even if everyone else in your party is on a thrill ride, you could try picking out some things for your baby in the shops. Maybe you could even pick up her first set of mouse ears! And when your child is older, you can tell him that he was a Walt Disney World veteran traveler even before he or she was born!
Again, make sure to ask your doctor about your trip before you leave, as he or she will have the best advice about which rides are OK and which ones you should avoid in your specific situation.
