4. Blondies (Islands of Adventure)

The Comic Book Café dominates the storefront space in Toon Lagoon, and is much larger with multiple food counters. However, Blondies is a much better choice if you’re in the mood for a great sandwich. You can get made-to-order subs here with all your favorite toppings.

If you want the house special, just order the Famous Dagwood Sandwich. This special comes on a freshly baked onion and poppy seed bun. Toppings include ham, turkey, roast beef, American and Swiss cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and mustard.

5. Richter’s Burger Co. (Universal Studios Florida)

Richter’s Burger Co. doesn’t look like much, but this is one of the best-themed restaurants on site. Inside, you’ll see it’s clear that this San Francisco restaurant has been rocked by a major earthquake.

The menu is simple and straightforward with burgers, a chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken salad. Specialize yours with additions like onion, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, Swiss, or American cheese. You can get your fries dressed up with chili and cheese as well. Don’t fill up too much, though, because the dessert menu includes Mile High Apple Pie, and giant chocolate chip cookies.
