4. The pool at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is closing for refurbishment

As a reminder the Silver Creek Springs pool at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be closed for refurbishment starting September 3. The pool will reopen on November 28, 2014.

Resort guests may use the quiet pool or the pool at Disney’s Contemporary Resort as an alternative. Boat transportation is provided to and from the Contemporary.

5. The American Idol Experience is now closed

The American Idol Experience has completed its final day of operation. Rumors are that the "For the First Time in Forever, a Frozen Sing Along” will move to this location come October. The sing along is currently located in the Premier Theater and will remain there until at least September 28.

6. Mickey’s PhilharMagic will be closing for a short refurbishment

Mickey’s PhilharMagic at the Magic Kingdom will close on September 8 and reopen to guests on September 28, 2014.
