4. Starring Rolls Café, Sunset Boulevard, Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Conveniently located near the entrance to the park, the Starring Rolls Café is an out-of-the-way bakery tucked next to the Hollywood Brown Derby. The café is only open for breakfast and lunch, so you’d do well to pop in and enjoy the fare early. The breakfast menu includes a wide selection of pastries and bagels. Try a chocolate croissant and one of the café’s specialty coffees for a decadent treat early in the morning.

5. Pizzafari, Discovery Island, Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Looking for unique breakfast options that depart from the norm? Stop by Pizzafari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Predictably, the restaurant offers a flatbread breakfast pizza, but this is far from being the only item on the menu. The Bounty Platter will satisfy any appetite with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, French toast sticks, and a biscuit. If you’re looking for something simpler, try the Ancient Grain Hot Cereal. This filling blend of oatmeal, quinoa, and barley features a salted caramel crumble on top that gives oatmeal all new appeal.

6. Trail’s End Restaurant, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort  and Campground

Hidden away in the wooded wilderness, and just a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom, is the Trails End Restaurant. This all-you-can-eat buffet features a new take on hearty country dinner favorites with options like their barbeque brisket hash and French toast-custard pudding. If you’re more used to less exciting options, don’t worry. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, and gigantic sausage links can also be found on this extensive buffet bar.

If you’re headed to the Magic Kingdom for the day, this is an easy breakfast choice. From a Disney resort, the best way to get here is to head to the Magic Kingdom first, then take a boat to and from Fort Wilderness. If you park at Fort Wilderness or get there by bus, keep in mind that you’ll need to take a separate bus back to the Settlement, whereas the boats drop you off right where you need to be.

7. The Wave, Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Can’t get a reservation at Chef Mickey’s? That happens frequently. Want something more than just a quick bite on the run from the Contempo Café? Found on the bottom floor of the main building, just around the corner from the main check-in desk, is the Wave. The breakfast buffet includes a smoked salmon bar, assorted local fruits, plentiful pastries, and the restaurant’s signature sweet potato pancakes. You can also order breakfast a la carte, from a diverse menu that features omelets, eggs, French toast, waffles, and more.

The Contemporary is within walking distance of the Magic Kingdom, so the best option if you’re coming from another Disney resort is to head to the park, then make the short jaunt over to the Contemporary for breakfast.

Don’t drag through the day because you didn’t take the time to indulge in a lasting morning meal. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at any one of these enticing spots.

The Wave at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of the best buffets on Disney property. The food is excellent and the price is very reasonable. I am a Disney Concierge Castmember and this is my #1 recommendation for breakfast. The Key Lime Eggs Benedict and Sweet Potato pancakes (try them with only the honey pecan butter) are to die for!!

Grand Floridian Cafe is another little known secrete. Not expensive and usually easy to get in. Hop the monorail and you are at the Magic Kingdom. Also don't forget Main Street Bakery...breakfast sandwiches and pasteries with Starbucks.

One of our favorite places for breakfast is the Rainforest Cafe at AK. Love the cranberry waffles.
