Right now The Taste Of EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts is in full swing but in just a few weeks a scaled down “Taste of” EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will kick off on March 3 and run through July 5.
Longtime fans of this event will no doubt notice that the 2021 festival is almost a month longer than the 2020 festival and will take place over a record 125 days in 2021. And though this year’s event will be scaled down when compared with years past, there will still be plenty of fun things to do beginning next month, including:
- Topiaries: EPCOT will be bringing back several favorite topiaries at this year’s event, including Remy in the France pavilion, Tinker Bell and the Fairy Houses in the United Kingdom, Lady and the Tramp in Italy and Sorcerer Mickey at the park’s main entrance.
- Outdoor Kitchens: This year there will be 20 new and returning Outdoor Kitchens offering a specialty menu of creative cuisine and libations to savor and sip. We’ll have more details to share in an upcoming post about all the foodie fun you can expect this year.
- Live Entertainment: This year’s festival will feature plenty of live entertainment including the following:
- Voices of Liberty perform an all-American a cappella showcase, celebrating the landscape, heart and human spirit of America
- Mariachi Cobre takes the stage for a performance of world-famous Mexican folk music.
- Jammin’ Gardeners will perform rhythmic beats with inspired backyard percussion
- EPCOT Pianist will be playing a selection of songs of the season in the World ShowPlace.
- Scavenger Hunts: This year will bring the return of both Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration scavenger hunt as well as the Easter Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt from March 19 through April 4.
Though this year’s event will be a bit smaller than years past, it looks like there will be plenty of fun things for guests to experience at this year’s special, extended “taste of” event.
