Minor point, but I think it more accurate to say that Brecht drew on vaudeville rather than vaudeville drawing from Brecht. Vaudeville predated his work and certainly was around before Brecht came to America.
I agree with most of these, however I gotta disagree with #2. Mission Space tells you its a simulation because that is what it is meant to recreate. It is supposed to recreate actual astronaut training (which is incredibly intense on its own); not actually going into space. And all of the other examples you listed are excellent rides (although Dinosaur is a complete wasted opportunity when compared to Indiana Jones Adventure at DL; but thats a different conversation).
Couldn't disagree more with the comments on Mission: Space. It really has no deficiencies or drawbacks. It's an incredible ride, and even the minor backstory has nothing wrong with it at all. Just don't make the mistake of going to the "less intense" side, and you'll have a great time.
Insightful. Two immediate issues: no one worth taking seriously thought BioDome was funny, and no one at all, not even Pauly Shore, would consider it "art".

I went to Epcot last year and rode the updated version of the ride. I wasn't there during the 1999-2001 operation but after watching the video, the new one is much better. However, I could do without Figment and the songs.
You are a very small minority. The lack of Figment was the chief complaint and the outcry forced an immediate revision. Long live Figment and his catchy little tune!
