at least we still have the WDW version, for now.

Just maybe the change of theming was not entirely Disney's choice. The have been rumblings in the past and recently about reticence for continued licensing of the Twilight Zone property by the TZ right owners. So just keep that in mind

Seems like every move Disney makes takes away a little more of the Magic. RIP Walt. You did your best.

I'm pretty sure Walt's best wouldn't include shelling out millions to CBS/Paramount when they could just use an in-house property.

Twilight Zone is still considered a classic decades after it went off the air. Anyone seriously believe that Guardians will be, or even considered 'classic' now? I get that rides get old and (most) will eventually be replaced, but to kill off good rides just to bank $$$ off latest ho-hum studio movie as a tie-in is BS.

I get the nostalgia part of everyone's outcry, but the ride itself is going to remain the same. It's just a theming issue we're dealing with here. Now if they had said they are taking this down and replacing it with say a Finding Dory Boat Ride, then yes. I would have an issue with that. They are just changing the music and images. Ride is the same. Not really any different than the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountian overlays for Halloween and Christmas except this will be permanent instead of temporary. I look forward to the change. Think it's gonna be brilliant.

I have grown out of movie oriented rides. This is a travesty to close a ride that is one of the great tributes to the imagination. sad.

But, you're ok with tv oriented rides?
