Happy with Stitch heading out and Wreck it Ralph getting some recognition. In regards to Slinky Dog, I really hope they find another big attraction for this land...it really needs something to pull people into the park.

Now with the Great Movie Ride, I'll be very sad to see this go. As a movie lover, I find this ride amazing and only wish they had updated it over the years. That being said, I think they have the ultimate dark-ride ready for this park...

With dark rides slowly leaving Magic Kingdom and only a handful left (really Peter Pan, Little Mermaid, and now Frozen at Epcot--I guess you could say Nemo too) I really think "History of Disney Animation" would be a great attraction here and would sync with "One Man's Dream".

I would love to see a dark ride telling the history of Walt Disney Studios. Start with an Audio Animatronic of Walt sitting at a desk sketching Mickey...then go on to have a room with Mickey Cartoons...black and white, then in color...then move on to Snow White and from there maybe some of the big movies...Pinocchio, Alice, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Jungle Book, etc....then you could catch up to Pixar films and go into Toy Story, Ratatouille, etc. Then you could keep the screen at the end and show highlights of all of the Disney Animation films!! It would basically be the ultimate Disney dark ride!! I think people would love it..and love singing along to each movie as you go from film to film...room to room. Just an idea!! I think it would be a great fill for the center of the park and really show what this park will be about, Disney films!!

I'm fine with the two attraction changes. While I enjoy the GMR, I never quite got the allure around it. I would not be sad to see it go. And I think we can all agree that almost anything will be an improvement over Stitch. The fact that Ralph won't jive with the overarching theme of Tomorrowland is moot at this point because it's been over a decade since the majority of Tomorrowland rides stuck to the theme. While it would be nice to get Tomorrowland back to a cohesive story, I'm not holding my breath.

Now the slinky delay and possible cancellation is truly concerning. WDW is the company's flagship park. I can understand budget cuts in food, shows, parades, etc. They're sad, but it's sometimes necessary to right the ship. But above all, it is a theme park. If they're not comitted to spend the money on making great attractions in a timely manner, then I am not too thrilled about Disney's future. $50 million is a drop in the bucket for Disney and should be viewed as an investment rather than just an expense on next year's budget. Universal will continue to gain more of the market in Orlando, and with the quality and speed they are churning out new attractions, they deserve it.

Did they change the merch for Rock n Rolling Roller coaster from Aerosmith to Mickey? was that true?

Regarding the Slinky Dog coaster, if it was going to be any similarity between the Slinky Coaster and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, GOOD thing they are thinking of scrapping it. I am still heavily disappointed in the outcome of that attraction in New Fantasyland.

So what do you think guys? A decision that Disney has made that seems we can all agree on? Removing stitch for wreck it Ralph? Although I'm not too fond of the whole VR thing. Things like that get dated quickly.

I'm really hoping that the slinky dog rumor isn't true. 50 million is pocket change for Disney especially considering what they've raked in at the box office ju the first half of this year. Shanghai should all be off of the books now and profitable soon. I don't see how a 4% decrease in attendance should set the alarm bells ringing to the heads of Disney. At least not to the point of sacrificing an entire land. How can they even call it toy story land with only one thinly veiled carnival ride and an already existing attraction? That's hardly anything to hang their cowboy hat or space helmet on.

I could see Stitch being replaced with Wreck it Ralph and I could imagine the VR being down for a reasonable price but I find "The Great Mickey Ride" not enough to be the center of the park's main ride. Also, there's no way they would build an entire Toy Story Land without an E-ticket attraction. In my opinion building a land with one A-ticket spinner ride is insane even for a budget slashing happy Florida to do.
