i just checked with the manufacturer. the fuel rod contains 2,600mAh (miliamp hours) of power (can provide 2.6 amps for 1 hour). to put into perspective the iphone 6plus has a battery capacity of 2915. That would get you frmo 0 to almost 90%. but that doesn't take into account any inefficiencies or if the a replacement rod isn't 100% full.

the samsung galaxy s7edge has a 3600 mAh battery so you'd go from 0 to about 72%.

How will this system work? Is it $30 a day or for the length of the trip? What happens at the end of the day/stay? Do you keep the one power pack or turn it in?

I am confused. $30 for each charge or $30 for entire visit ??? $30 for entire visit, I am in !!! $30 for each charge, No Way !!!

It is $30 for the initial fuel rod. You can exchange for free, forever. Per fuel rods website. Even better buy one at the airport for $20 and change at disney. Only downside is they have small power reserves.

The self-pics will probably take off once you get the knack on how to do them.

The battery/recharge is a great idea. Is there any restrictions in using it more than one day if you are there for more than one day?

The charging stations, while convenient are likely a way to monetize the previous service of charging a phone at Guest Services
