I was planning on going to Disney World next year to see the lights which are my favorite part of the park. I am a DVC member and I am sad to see that Disney is discontinuing this attraction. It seems they are doing less and less for the holidays since I was down last year for the lights and noticed less decorations at the parks for Christmas Holiday. I am sure if they tried they could find another place to have this spectacular display. Really disappointed that my newest grandkids will not be able to enjoy in the years to come. Sad Sad day.

Since all the shows are going, the admission price should go down for now. I always liked that park because of the shows.

I, for one, will NOT be going to Hollywood studios any time soon. It has become the 1/2 day park. Ever for my faves Toy Story, Rockin Roller Coaster or Tower of Terror. That is all that's left.

If I were an osbourne, i'd sue disney. When they bought the spectacle, it was so that it could be shown in perpetuity. This means forever. Somehow 2015 doesnt seem like forever. There are other places it could be shown.

We've been to Disneyworld many times. EVERY time we go to Disneyworld, we look forward to the Osborne Lights! All my family and our friends will be saddened by his closure.

It would be great if they were to move the Osborne Lights to Disney Springs. It truly is a great fit and it will drive people to the area, which in turn would drive higher sales. The merchants of Disney Springs would definitely appreciate that. It would also alleviate some crowds in the Parks.

Why doesn't Disney simply close Disney Hollywood Studios and re-brand it as Star Wars Land still keeping a few Disney attractions on the side. It already seems they have sacrificed the best of DHS for the sake of this Star Wars Land that wont be complete for years.

So does this mean we won't be able to see the lights without a special "package"? We usually stay for the extra magic hours (we aren't actually resort guests but we sit and enjoy the lights). And We only go to ride a few rides and then go to a different park. I think they are betting on star wars land to be huge..we have never watched a star wars movie so def not interested in a whole land dedicated to it....but Toy Story Land has great potential. Either way I feel like they need to expand ALL of their parks as the crowds in the past few years has made the experience less magical and more of a rat race. Hoping they figure it out.

It means that Disneyworld will not have the Osborne lights anymore--
Never!!
