I thought the only way to view your photos was to purchase the Memory Maker package. So why use the watermark since the photo are owned by the purchaser. There's the limited license which gives you the permission to reproduce the images.

I have Memory Maker from our recent trip to WDW in late June and those photos have not been watermarked. So I don't know if that will continue to be the case but I hope so since I've paid for the rights to all photos anyway.

This is different than Memory Maker right? Curious since we've purchased Memory Maker the last few trips. We never bought the PhotoPass thing.

The watermark seems excessive. The preview pics are already so low res screen caps don't even seem worth it!

They need to offer photopass options for annual passholders for a year like Universal and other parks; or at least extend the time frame from 30 days to 120 or so.

Memory Maker did get the watermarks. I started editing without them and the next time I logged in they were watermarked. The pictures were already grainy and blurry. Couldn't tell which pictures were good. Downloaded them last night. Pictures were sharp and no water mark

What about memory maker? Surely if u pay almost $200 for MM there are no watermarks on the pics...right?

is the water mark still there if you have the memorymaker

Guess I'll just go back to taking my own pictures! :p

Last year with the purchase of photopass, we didn't get a cd with the pictures we just downloaded them. So do we get the cd of pictures again? Without the watermark?

Do the photos still appear watermarked even if you've prepurchased Memory Maker? It seems like that would be unnecessary if you've already paid for the rights to download them.

I think it would be nice if Disney would have some photo pass package available for annual passholders like Universal and Sea World have. Both of those parks you can purchase an annual photo pass, with Disney there Photo pass is only available for the duration of your visit which in the case of an annual pass holder is only a day here and there.

They have been doing this watermarking at Busch Gardens for quite some time.(all roller coasters) The honest people who know you REALLY can't get something worthwhile for nothing, are the ones who have always spent the money on the "park" photos and will continue to do so. I believe Watermarking has also been initiated at Universal Studios on certain attractions. The concept is bad news for some, but, for others, not so much. Just sayin'

I'm confused. If you purchase photo pass. Then you still have to purchase the prints? I thought you had access to your pictures of you paid for the photo pass

Photo pass is a service, not really something you purchase. You purchase a product like Memory maker, which is all your digital downloads, no matter how many. The watermark preview is only if you have purchased anything, because people were just screenshotting pictures and taking pictures via camera right in front of the photopass associates as they were showing them.

You don't purchase Photo Pass you purchase Memory Maker to get all the pictures you want.

You are thinking of Memory Maker. Photopass is the service take takes and stores pictures. Memory Maker is the paid package that gives you all the photos from your trip.

When you download the image, the watermark does go away doesn't it????

Yep, the watermark only appears on the preview.

Yes, if you purchase the image you would download it without the watermark. It's only on the preview so you can't just do a screen grab of your preview and save it as a digital image.

Yes, as soon as you do a download the watermark is removed for the image.
