I love the evening EMHs. If this perk is taken away I will most likely stay off property. I used to pay for the privilege when they were testing EMHs and the parks were empty. I use EMHs every time one is offered. Its great spending the day at another park, coming home, napping or swimming and then heading to MK at 8PM and have 6 hours left for the night. I would like 7 hours back but I wont hold my breath.

Love the Extra Magic Hours! The ones in the evening are great and it is wonderful because the park is less crowded. We always take advantage of the evening ones! Makes for a great trip!

Love the Extra Magic Hours, going in early and especially being able to stay late is amazing and that is what makes the whole trip magical. Isn't that what Walt wanted?

YES we used extra magic hrs and are in planning stages of 2016 trip one of the reasons we stay on property is due to extra magic hrs and getting in before the park is swamped. If this changes to no extra hrs I will be looking at off site resorts as my new option

loved the extra hours. splash mtn and space mtn are better rides at night. our family loved the extra hrs. we got more done in that time than all day. take away the extra hrs and there is no reason to stay on property.

There is always the possibility that they may stop offering Extra Magic Hours outside of the peak seasons / events, so during the quiet months there are no Extra Magic Hours, but yet as soon as the main summer season starts they will be available?

This could be nothing at all, January has always been a low month for extra magic hours in the evenings and the line from the website of the downtown disney hilton may be true for downtown disney hotels. Disney may be taking this extra away from those hotels since they are not true Disneyworld resorts.

How about that!!! I was 100% WRONG!!! Yipee. There is hope for us yet!

I swear to you that I have not read any of the above. I just wanted to express my thoughts before I do read the article. I sincerely hope that WDW is not going to start to charge for the extra hours. It would not surprise me if they did decide to do that, but I don't think it would be a good idea. I hope I am 100% wrong in my assumption.

I need late night EMH! No one in our group gets up early because of this we go to the park that is open late. I really hope Disney keeps some form of EMH. I really think that guests who pay more to stay on property should get extra perks.

EMH are not good any more. If you have a band and most people do, you get to stay in the park after hours. We were told there was no real way to prove if you were staying on property or not. So, where's the TRUE advantage? When EMH first started, you had to PAY for them and then it was also limited to a certain number. You were given one of those plastic bands they now use in clubs and only if you had one on, did you get to stay. The first time my husband and I did EMH (before kids), we rode BTM three times in a row and never had to get off since there was no line. Once we had kids, my daughter loved being in the park late with her Dad - great memories because they could ride without having to wait at most rides. And that is NOT the case anymore! EM later hours do need to be revamped to make the experience fun again.

You can not get on any rides during EMH if you are not staying on property. They will scan your band before you access the ride. At least that is what happened for us when at the end of March this year. I would hate to see it end, our family loves it!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE EMH! I plan our whole trip around EMH. Which park we will go to, where we will eat, etc. Really love when they stay open to 2 or 3 AM. Can't imagine no EMH that would make me very sad. Not to mention, what does Disney want you to do then? AK, HS and sometimes Epcot and the water parks all close early. Don't they want us in a park spending money?

Disney continues to make choice that give vacationers less and less reasons to spend their money at WDW and consider other options that are more for their buck without having to rob a bank

I could not imagine WDW getting rid of EMH. For many, myself included, that would convince me to NOT stay on site. FP+ for the popular attractions are difficult to get at 30 days but not impossible depending on the time of year you go.

On an unrelated note, why not give passholders a 45 day window? Wouldn't that solve that issue!?!?

Love EMH, especially the Evening Hours. I enjoy the parks at night, and was disappointed when the extra hour was cut off.

Yes!! I have taken advantage of the extra hours. It makes a major difference in the overall trip. I usually vacation at Walt Disney World, however just made a special trip to Disneyland this past month. They only offer extra hours in the morning. I was kind of disappointed to find that out. Also, you can NOT book fastpasses in advance at Disneyland. Because they are still using the original fastpass system of using your ticket(no wristbands). I hope they will not take these nice perks away from gueests. Maybe just delete the availability of reserving fast passes in stead. You should have to be at the park in order to take advantage of this perk. And a lot of people DON"T even utilize the fast passes except for the newer attractions(Frozen, Cars, Toy Story Mania). I'm sure they will make thir decisions based upon what they think and not what the guests want, because either way they know they will still get their quota of guests no matter what they do.

My family and I have used the Extra Magic Hours a lot. We really enjoy it. At least once every trip we like to stay late one night when so many people leave. It's so pretty and less crowded and we can typically walk on to some good rides. I hope it doesn't change or at least much.

I love the combination of 60 day FP+ and the EMH, I am not a late nighter at all so we just take advantage of the early EMH. I have found that over the years when a park offers the EMH that park seems to be the destination for those that aren't even eligible for EMH... why is that? I like to hit the early EMH park at 8am, setup my FP+ selections for 930, 1030 and 1130 then hop to a less crowded park for the remainder of the day.... OR... hit the early EMH park at 8am and do what can be done without FP+ then hop to another park at 11am and setup my FP+ selections for the 2nd park beginning at noon :)
