We would love to see the park open back up. We took our 5 grandchildren in 2009 & they loved it. My husband went with his family years ago & that was his dream to take our grandkids so that they could enjoy it too. They loved the gunfights as much as he did when he was a kid! We have photos on the wall where they were all dressed in western gear! Please get it up & running again!!

I hope the owners open this theme park back up.. Our grandchidlren absolutely love it and they are ages 13 and 9. They have been to Disney, Dollywood, all the other
theme parks but this is one of their favorites. Hopefully this year; 2012, they will... Good luck owners.

Please please, reopen ghost town in the sky! It is one of the most beautiful places around. My 9 year old granddaughter fell in love with it . I am 50 years old an still I loved going. My granddaughter fell in love with apache kid an asks every year! Will we ever get to see apache kid again? I keep telling her that with our Prayers maybe someone will reopen it soon. We need ghost town back. Someone please help ghost town reopen

I can remember going there when I was a child with my grandparents. We went twice a year my entire life until Ghost Town closed. It is one of the best memories that I have with my now deceased grandfather, and I would love to take my children.

I have so many happy memories in Ghost Town in the sky all the way back to when we used to vacation in Tn. when my kids were young, to a few years ago , since we've lived in Tn. for 20 years ,when we took our youngest Grandchildren to visit when it was on it's way down. They loved the ride up , and the gunfights, and the rides that were still open, although some were closed.
We always loved that it wasn't a huge sprawling park where you had to walk for miles to get around, and the fabulous views including the swings that looked like they were right over the side of the mountain. Plus they had some cute saloon shows and other entertainers too. We're really hoping it will be back !!!!!

I hope that this news leads to something. I'm only a few hours from this park and I've never had a chance to check it out. It has a pretty unique location and an authentic looking Western theme.

My family loves Ghost Town. The rides give you views off the side of the mountain that rock. There is not to much to do in maggie valley(or cherokee) other than ghost town. We hope the new owners have a new great season this year and for many to come.

When I was little I always looked forward to goin to ghost town in the sky with the gun fight the Indian dance the saloon show and the rides I went in 2008 and I really want to go back again
