It has been just over a year since Downtown Disney officially turned into Disney Springs, and in that time this shopping district has changed dramatically, with the openings of dozens of new shops and restaurants in the past 12 months.
However, Disney Springs is doing more than just opening up new places for guests to shop and dine. Here’s a look at some of the most recent changes happening this month at the dining, retail and entertainment area.
1. Planet Hollywood Observatory teases social media fans with image of new premium shakes
Exterior work is still continuing on Planet Hollywood Observatory ahead of its (projected) late 2016 grand re-opening, but while we are waiting on an official date for this dining establishment to welcome guests once again, the Planet Hollywood Observatory Facebook page has been giving guests some sneak peaks at what they can expect from the revamped menu at this reimagined eatery. And earlier this week fans got a first look at what is being called “Supernova Shakes”, which will be hand-crafted, made to order gourmet shakes that will (as you can see above) feature a number of over the top fixings, similar to another recently-opened eatery at Universal Orlando Resort. No details have been made available about flavor or price, but hopefully we’ll know more soon about these delicious-looking treats.
2. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar introduces weekday happy hour menu
